I have been interested in breastfeeding for about 36 years, when I was pregnant with my first baby. I received wrong information and weaned my daughter at six weeks . That made me determined to breastfeed my next baby. I have four adult children and two adult stepchildren and 5 grandchildren. My husband and I live in Brewer with 2 cats and 12 chickens. I have been a childbirth educator since 1983 and an IBCLC since 1989 and now work part time as a Lactation Consultant and coordinate the perinatal education department at EMMC
